What is ICUconnect?
ICUconnect 2 is a clinical trial being conducted at Duke University, Columbia University, the Medical University of South Carolina, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
This trial will compare best practices of communication to a strategy augmented by a digital communication system–all in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting. The trial is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The NIH website relevant to this trial can be viewed can be viewed here.
